This Davis Instruments Complete Weather Wizard III with Rain Collector Digital Weather Station generally measures inside and outside temperature, wind speed and direction, wind chill, and daily and accumulated rainfall. It features anemometer, rain collector, temperature sensor. Rain collector can be user-calibrated for 0.01 inch or 0.2 Millimeters.
In 2001, the National Weather Service adopted a new standard for calculating wind chill. This station uses the older standard in place prior to that date. Weather link calculates and displays wind-chill using the newer formula. This Digital Weather Station is available in three varieties of versions.
