For use with either coffee beans or ground coffee, this fully automatic espresso machine features an integrated conical burr grinder with various settings for adjusting the fineness of all types of beans. The unit's direct-to-brew system grinds beans instantly before brewing to produce the freshest espresso or coffee. Plus, it delivers 15 bars of pressure and Thermoblock technology for even heat distribution. For added convenience, the machine's digital programmable touch screen menu settings allow for adjusting the start time, auto shut-off, and the clock, as well as adjusting the temperature of the coffee and water hardness. Choose from five coffee-strength settings--extra-mild, mild, regular, strong, and extra strong--plus three cup-size options, which include ristretto (small), espresso (medium), and American coffee (large). The unit also features a unique long coffee function that elongates the brewing process to replicate the taste of traditional drip coffee. The machine also includes a 27-ounce milk container. Simply place a cup under the nozzle and press any of the four one touch buttons for cappuccino, latte, macchiato or hot milk. Amounts of frothed/steamed milk and coffee are also adjustable to accommodate individual tastes. Even more, the entire milk container detaches easily so it can be placed in the refrigerator, and dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a snap.
