This magnificent grandfather Ridgeway 'Van Ness' Clock from the Traditional Collection features a solid brass dial and has full functioning moon dial with translucent disk and hand applied brass numerals, 24 percent European lead crystal center, and matching 24 percent lead crystal lyre on a 270 mm pendulum. The solid oak case is accented with multiple carvings. This clock also includes a free brass plate with three lines of engraving for your choice of sentiment, and available remembrance rings to mark family milestones as they occur. The polished brass finished dial comes with raised Arabic numerals, etched corner spandrels and a crystal glass center design. The dial has a moving blue moon with etched stars so that a mounted light reflects through the stars and center crystal of the dial. The brass rod lyre pendulum features a 24 percent lead crystal center insert. The case back is mirrored and an additional light is mounted to the case bottom that reflects off the mirrored back and the center crystal of the pendulum. Frosted glass softens the illumination. The bottom locking door and door glass is serpentine in shape, which adds an unstated beauty and elegance to this timepiece. The upper locking door and side movement access panels come with beveled glass.
